Wow! Thats so fast. UPS sucks so much that I still haven't received mine since it last shipped on wednesday. It was still sitting in shanghai for 3 days when it finally departed, now its in Louisville, KY and STILL sitting there since Sunday. I had so many bad experience with UPS including the Snow Leopard upgrade disc that took around 3 weeks.
In contrast, all my other Apple orders via FedEx took average of 3 days from China to Toronto. The quickest FedEx shipment took less than 24hours from Illinois when I ordered Ram from OWC.
Too bad that there's no option to pick the delivery service.

How is that amazing? Shanghai to Memphis is a 12 hour flight, not like it's coming from the moon. Hell, when I fly from SFO to PVG should I be amazed it only takes 9 hours? If 3 days is good, 9 hours is practically being star-trek transported haha.
Seriously tho, everyone else has posted reviews... now it's getting a little annoying, just add comments to the threads that are already existing. The "I love fedex" thread hardly belongs in the MBA section.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered last Thursday. My MBA11 ultimate was originally scheduled to be delivered by FedEx on Thursday by 4:30. It was delivered today around 11:00.
My CTO MBA shipped last Wednesday (Oct 27) and was delivered Friday (Oct 29). I was out at the time (12:45 PM) but the driver came back at 2:45 PM (I was still gone) I got home about 3:15 PM, found the note, checked the status on the FedEx site, saw he had been here twice already and thought either I would have to wait until Monday or go pick it up...
Then at 4:00 PM here he was again!

To those of you who received your Air's quicker than expected: what did the FedEX tracking information show compared to when you actually received your units? What I mean is...did the tracking information show that they were still scheduled for the original arrival date and then they just randomly came sooner? Or did the tracking information update right before they arrived to show a rescheduled delivery date that was sooner then expected? Mine is showing an estimated arrival date of this Friday by 4:30 PM, and I would be ecstatic if it showed up tomorrow haha.
So basically the tracking just showed it being way behind where it really was? This gives me hope for a delivery tomorrow haha!

I ordered a 13", 128 with 4GB of RAM on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 31)...expected arrival date was November 9...but it came this morning!!! 4 DAYS EARLY!!!

This makes sense. Mine flew through Alaska as did yours I'm guessing, which is a quick ship to Vancouver. (Sorry for the double post, I tried to delete my first one and combine them but I couldn't)

It left Shanghai this past Tuesday 11/2, was in Alaska Wednesday 11/3, and was delivered to me in NYC yesterday 11/4.

I'm guessing, as with a lot of things Apple does, they estimate their shipping with an "under promise over deliver" philosophy. It serves them well.
