Got a 64GB or 32GB iPad and want to fill it?
Do you love free stuff as much as I do?
I am now on a mission to fill my iPad full of freebies that are worth having. Sure... I pay for stuff too, but if it is out there and it is free why not download it?
Here is the beginning of what I hope to be a long list:
(itunes) Planet Earth: Pole to Pole -- Thanks to a previous poster today that alerted me to this. It's HD, it's a spectacular program, and it's downloading to my iPad as I type this.
(itunes)Robot Chicken Star Wars Episode 2 -- I've heard good reviews about Robot Chick Star Wars. If you are a fan and like humor, get this free episode!
(itunes)Best of Ghost Hunters, Vol 1 -- This show is one of my guilty pleasures on Wednesdays. Here is a free episode for your pad of some of their best moments.
EW Must List -- A great free application by Entertainment Weekly that lets you know stuff you should be interested in even if you don't know it yet.
Yahoo Entertainment -- Unless you've been under a rock, you know about this one. It is now my absolute favorite TV guide for my cable, and also includes some video as well.
The Weather Channel/Weather Bug -- Both are free, and I still haven't decided which one I'm going to keep on my iPad. Hopefully a couple active weather cycles will help me determine.
Bloomberg -- Keep up with your stocks, and look totally cool doing it. Love the feel of this app.
IMDb -- I use IMDb all the time. This app makes it even easier.
ebay -- I almost like the ebay app better than I do using the website. With a little more use I might not even use the word 'almost'.
We Rule -- I admit that I wish I could invade and loot my friends' kingdoms. I also admit that some times I wonder why I keep going back into this app, but I keep going back.
Godfinger -- This is much the same as We Rule and by the same company. Lots of fun, but I'm not sure how long it will last? At any rate, I keep going back in and checking a couple times a day on my little worshipers.
Toy Story Read Along -- forget the other books out there like Alice in Wonderland. THIS interactive book gets it right and should be the model for the future.
10PinShuffle Lite -- The free version of this bowling poker game is a lot of fun. You only get the ability to play poker bowling rather than plain bowling and also shuffle board found in the paid version. I liked it so much I bought the full version.
Air Hockey by acceleroto -- Great air hockey game that is simple in design and just feels right.
Air Video -- I can't say enough about this amazing app. Streaming videos from your PC through your home network, and also through the internet. Conversion of the fly. Great great app.
So there is my start. More to come hopefully.
