I am just posting this because,
I live somewhere in the great white north that is Canada,

And as you may or may not know, we have world's highest mobile phone prices here. You can expect to pay $150.00 a month minimum for a Unlimited Data plan with voice.

So I use messages alot to stay in touch with family and friends who are iPhone users. I used to be an iPhone user from year 2008 to 2016, with my last purchase being the iPhone 5S 64GB Gold phone.

If it wasn't for messages I'd have no way to keep in touch with my two best friends, my Mother, my brother, etc.

Thank you for continuing to maintain this Apple, I hope that people realize there are those of us in protest against Canada's absurd carrier prices, and WE love messages for its ability to basically be a text messaging for free, between Apple users.

I will be buying a smartphone in the future (Expected to be an iPhone 14 Pro), But I am not looking forward to the $200 monthly cost of it. For what I use it for, Its hardly worth it. Most people rely on phones for their Jobs, I use Messages and Email for that. If someone needs to call me I have a Cisco Deskphone connected to a cheap PBX which costs approx $5.00 a month. I do miss having an iPhone and SMS Capability to Android and other users, But for my core communications, Messages is perfect!

The only thing I wish is that they made it harder to accidently Delete all of your text message history without an Undo option, By right clicking anywhere in the conversation window. That's a rather dangerous default behavior if you ask me, Especially that its mouse-click.

I have to say,
Going from a crazy-busy iPhone "Guru" from its Inception, to not owning a Smartphone since 2015, has made my life quieter and very peaceful. Although I have lost some business as a result of this, I still carry around my trusty iPhone 5S for Pictures, Notes, RememberTheMilk (Task Lists), and a few IT apps which still work like SSH and Remote VMWare Vsphere control. I highly recommend trying to live without a smartphone for a couple years, if you are constantly answering the phone or using it, Just try living without it, It's a whole new world.
