Just got a new HP laptop at work today, replacing an old one. Why on earth are they still making these things so bulky and ugly?!? Have they learned nothing from Apple? Function AND style, and PC's have neither.

Just made me appreciate my Mac Book so much more, as if I really needed a reason to appreciate it.

Haha, to be honest, I love the look of the newest HP consumer line. (http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=notebooks&a1=Category&v1=High+performance&series_name=dv7t_series&jumpid=in_R329_prodexp/hhoslp/psg/notebooks/High_performance/dv7t_series)

That said, it's an obvious ripoff of the Mac unibody design, but I think it's a good ripoff. I've noticed that the business production lines for HP are staying with the old bulky parts to reduce costs and probable longterm maintenance concerns. Thus, the business laptops from HP are quite bulky and ugly. :)
