I Love My Whitebook!

you could have taken it in to apple and they would have replaced the whole macbook casing for free cuz many people have been having problems with the macbook cracking. :D
 
I had my whitebook just over two years (which included a year with me in Iraq). When I sold it, it looked as good as the day I bought it.

That being said, it was replaced by a blackbook because the two-tone white-gray is ugly IMHO.

exactly the new macbooks with the two-tone crap is totally ugly IMO.

looks like im not the only one against the new macbook. :D

lol just because we are talking a WHITE macbook doesnt mean were racist or anything.

the fact that the new mabooks dont have a color difference is maybe because apple doesnt want to be racist. LOL!
 
I got my refurb whitebook a couple of weeks before the product line was refreshed but absolutely love it. Still trying to convince other-half to take it for a test drive. Funny, she took to the imac a lot quicker...
 
i got my 2006 white macbook of ebay with a broken screen , no battery , no hard drive , for £62 . i got it working all in for £200 and its got factory n spec airport :D:D:apple:

the blacks look cool aswell,but i had a pc laptop and the keys went all glossy from finger prints etc and it doesnt come off,has that happen to ur blackbook yet. i put some sticky clear stuff on my palm rest and some keys that get used alot lol

Well the keys are fine right now, but the surface of the actual body is a fingerprint magnet. I heard some Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will get it off.

So will the black cloth it came with dipped in a little water. That is all I do and it looks like new. Mine doesn't attract a lot of fingerprints. It only takes 2 minutes to clean the outside anyways.
 
My whitebook is great!

Got £649 2.4Ghz refurb (tho' looks like new) last week. Was only expecting 2GB ram, but when I checked the 'about this mac' showed 4GB. Score! :D
Am upgrading to 500GB hard disk soon.

So much faster than my iBook G4 :D
 
I love my crackbook:)

I must say, other than the cracks, I absolutely love my MacBook, and plan to hang onto it for quite a while.

My MacBook was my first ever :apple: computer, and you know what they say: once you go Mac, you will never go back:D
