aaannnddd.....a rage 128 (cause the geforce 4 died (anyone have a spare for me )

All the MDDs are great... they were the best G4 tower, IMO. The fans don't bother me at all.

A Dual 1.0 MDD w/2GB of RAM, 80GB HD and a 40GB HD, which is my main Mac.
And a non working 1.25GHz MDD...it has a dead power supply.

definatly agree, the fans are a bit loud....but its worth it.

2!(win) nice to see someone else keeping these beasts in active use ... i heard that was a issue with the samsung replacement ones.

I have 2 as well... a dual 1.42 (see my sig - fully loaded) and a single 1.25...

The dual is my main... with my hackbook as my mobile. I just love the design.

I am currently in the field and I have ordered a sonnect USB card from OWC as well as 2 pcs of 320Gb HDD which I would like to make a software raid with it as my boot drive. I have thought for an SSD but the price is the deal breaker.

I just got a Quicksilver 2002 Just as good, albeit they had slower processor configurations. Although the audio jack has a lot of hissing Otherwise built like a tank.

Yup the quicksilvers were nice to, really a "intermeddiat" desgin. My fave g4 pmacs would be; fw800 mdd, then digital audio (idk why I just like them ) any who....
