You can forgive him for not listing more people, there are so many great characters on here that everyone knows and loves. I've spent a lot of time on loads of forums although on here there is a far larger group of ueber-posting regulars that one 'recognises' from all sorts of threads. There are simply too many to list!!

Well, the "all MacRumorers" meant all the rest of you! haha. And of course, you don't have to help me out in anyway through a thread about something. It's just great to see how much people actually help people around here. In my VW forum (VWVortex) all it seems like is that everyone is 15 and wanting to flame everyone on how they are better than everyone else. Sure, there are some great core people on there, but it just seems that for the most part at least 95% of the people that get on here are genuinely nice people. For instance, I bought four turtles about a month ago (some of you may have read my "RIP Lou Blair" thread) and two of them had developed a Respitory Infection which can be lethal if the right steps are not taken. After spending about $400 getting the tank up and everything, I didn't have the money to go and take these little guys to the vet, so my girlfriend and I spent days on TurtleForums trying to find things to get these turts some vitamins. Well, we found some different methods to help them out, but when we went to ask how often we should do these certain things, NO ONE would help us. They knew the information but just kept saying "they need to go to the vet". It was disgusting on how careless these people are about other people's situations. The vet costs would have been at least $300 and unfortunately the closest vet that works on turtles around me is an hour away. Luckily, we were able to find a couple other forums and found the information that they needed. The two did die, but they were given the best care that we could have given them at the time. We made sure they were comfortable and one even lived 2 weeks with our aid!
So, after that rant which you will all probably think I'm still drunk (I'm not haha), I just wanted to show my appreciation for a very (IMHO) underappreciated set of great people! Once again, THANK YOU EVERYONE!
