Chances are he is/was a Windows user... so that pretty much sums it up right there.

I had that too. You love the system. My lecturer pointed out that PC users call their computers "a machine" where a mac has a personalised name, or it's brand name, and can be referred to as "she".
The honeymoon wore off though. It's great. I could never go back to PC without feeling sad inside. I get magic boosts every time Apple launch a new OS though.

i switched in december and just love it everything i do is on my mac, i also cant live without things like expose and quicksilver im always trying to press the quicksilver or expose keys and trying to skip songs with my menu bar when im on my windows machines

But I even caught her doing a doubletake when I explained over the phone in about 30 seconds how to burn a CD out of iTunes...ha ha, she'll be over from the darkside soon too!
