Got it today.. I must say.. it does do a good job :)

yep you will get ripped for posting a 32000x90000 size image...

Nothing wrong with solar power, why would anyone rip you?

my friends did for taking it on a bus and getting free electric from gods creation ;)

it cost me £6... we will see if this can work for the month. I could think a month? as it pays for it's self.

That makes it somewhat less mobile. I understand the conservation concept, though. Just don't duct-tape it to the top of your head so you can charge the iPhone while walking down the street (actually, go ahead...I dare you :))

Where did you get the solar charger? I have one but it is different than that and much more expensive. Mine also takes forever to recharge.

Have you put this to test?

How long does it take to charge the iPhone from an almost discharged state?

Great idea to have a solar charger in the case, but that one is frickin ugly. Is there one I wouldn't be ashamed to show someone?

*edit* What if the next iphone had a built in solar charger on it's back? It would probably not be able to recharge your phone everytime you needed, but in a pinch, when your low, or camping or hiking or something. I'd pay extra for that. Definitely.

i love it.. i want one too.. i looked at those the other month, but i havent lost power where i needed one on an averag day.

Personally, I'm never that far away from the mains - I like my creature comforts too much! Give me a five star hotel over a tent any day :D

Please drop us an updated review after a week or so. I bought a couple of batteries off Woot before I went to China. They worked okay in pinch, but the capacity sucks. I only get one charge per battery.

Now that would be innovative. How about having 4 smaller ones on the front - either side of the earpiece, and home button, so the look isn't tarnished?
