So recently I sold my 27" iMac knowing I will get a Macbook Pro/Air after they get updated. In the meantime I am using my spare 5 year old 24" iMac to hold me over. And boy after using it for a bit I sure do miss the 24" size/aspect ratio.

Side by side the screen is not the same but still beautiful. With the lower resolution on the 24" everything seems a little easier to read. And sure I can't put as much stuff on one screen at the same time but I don't see my productivity taking a dive. It's actually helping me focus.

24" has the perfect aspect ratio. 16:9 is nice for movies and shows but not optimal for most web/computer related work. Bigger is not always better. Crossing my fingers that they bring back a 16:10 ratio screen on an iMac or Display.

16:9 was introduced by jobs as being great for movies, pretty much the only thing it is great for not that 16:10 is a big difference but it is noticeable
