Found this on my local Facebook marketplace and was second in line to message the seller. But given she was only asking $100 for the lot, I had a feeling that the first person knew it would be stupid to bail on such a deal. Especially considering it had apparently recently been bumped to 16GB RAM and given a brand new hard drive.

Oh well. Better luck next time. I even had a second 23" ACD to run with the included one for a nice dual screen setup...

Just hope it went to another PowerPC fan who will appreciate it as much as I would have. The pristine iMac G4 I just got was bought and resold (to me) because the lady was mad she couldn't use it to edit HD/4K footage.

That’s a beautiful setup. Sad to hear you didn’t get it.

Current finds:
- Dual Core G5 latest revision (using for general web browsing, general appreciation of its aesthetic, appreciating a bygone era of PowerPC) ($50 on Craigslist, case is in near excellent condition)
- Dual Core second to last revision, disassembled, case is in okay condition, also used for admiration purposes and maybe a PC case (apologies) someday soon (got it for free from a friend)
[doublepost=1567396495][/doublepost]I’ve always wanted the 30” ACD display as a kid. Have been considering creating an aluminum case for a 5K since the resolution on the 30” nowadays would look a tad washed out compared to 4K / 5K on the iMac
