I mixed R3D files and DV footage. Thoughts?

Super low budget music video for two DJs based here in London.

Managed to rope the RED in as I was using it on a job the week after.

I enjoyed the gritty look of the DV when used in the beginning on the streets, but wow, that RED makes for some gorgeous shots during the club sequence. Did you have to do much color grading in post to get those colors in the club?

Grading was done in Resolve and actually the shots that had the most change were the outside shots, specifically the shots at the end leaving the club at dusk.

Mostly in the club(s) it was accentuating the colours that were already there. There wasn't so much room for pushing and pulling due to the low light nature but there was the option to add a little punch!
