I have been using imovie 09 to make videos since it came out and I've been using the same camera the entire time. Every video I've made when I go to publish it to youtube i can click the HD option because the video is 1280x720.
Now all of a sudden it wont let me pick the HD option.

I need to know whats going on because nothing has changed excepted that now I cant export my videos in HD

I noticed this once, too, when I brought in footage that was 960x540 (quarter HD). iMovie will actually import video from your camera into this format, but occasionally will not export as HD.

I don't know the fix; just make sure your iMovie is up to date (run Software Update). You might be best off re-importing your footage and starting over.

The only thing I can think of is that somehow, maybe when you imported, the files were saved as something below 1280x720, so obviously you can't make the files a higher resolution.
