Im really really sorry if it is not the first thread here about it
I couldn't find the answer
I have a macbook 13.3"
2.4 Ghz core 2 duo
2 Gb 667 Mhz DDR2
FUJITSU MHY2160BH Hard Disc of 160 GB

I wish to upgrade to 500 Gb
but I couldn't find a model name and number that gonna be compatible without a doubt...
my theory is
if I purchase the FUJITSU MHY2500BH it will be the best
but I don't really know...
anyone know something about my theory
or about any model of hard disc that will be compatible to my mac

thanks from advanced...:)

Any SATA 2.5" HDD (and SSD) with a maximum height of 9.5mm will do.

There are Seagate (Momentum 7200.4), Western Digital and Hitachi (Travelstar) HDDs out there that will fit your need.

Have a look at MRoogle for better search results while looking through this forum.
