hi everyone, i'm in need of a cheap cash register software. i've looked around and all the options go for around US$1000 and that's just a bit too much. if i can find one that's quite affordable, i might be able to convince my dad to use a mac in the store instead. the alternative would be using a PC where he's already been offered some sort of promotional thing that'll let him have a POS software for CAD$50 
eek i know it's not fair, but still, if i'm going to persuade him to use a mac instead, it can't cost CAD$1300 more. it doesn't have to be that chrap, but has to be reasonable. this is a small store.
any suggestions?
