I have a PowerBook G4 running Mac OS X 10.4.11. I am looking for the best tool to compress my large photos so that I can send them in email or post them on craigslist. Can someone recommend something? I don't believe my Mac yet had the capability to do this itself like the later versions, but maybe I am wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like your problem is that the file size of your pics are just too large? Use iPhoto, and export the photos you need. In the export dialog, you can pic new sizes in order to make them not so large.
