If you're OK with a used desk, you might try some place like Goodwill.

Depending on how large a desk you need (you gave no information about your needs), getting a new desk with a vintage look for under $200 might be tough. But something used might get you more for your budget.:D

in that price range...

new/stylish/lowish quality = IKEA

used/stylish = used table/desk at second-hand shop. I would recommend something from "the South" and painted multiple times for best effect (over here Paris is great for these types of items.)

I live in LA, well pretty much I had a MALM desk that I put a glass top on and that was pretty much all I needed.

About the vintage, scratch that, that's not what I meant lol

I like this desk

the top of it, but I wish it had legs. OR like an industrial looking desk that has the wood top and around it is metal....I just want something simple lol

This table is perfect

but I can't justify the 1000 price tag!

200 is a really low price point.

you'll have to sift through the **** for the good stuff.

i don't mean this is a "mean" way, but 200 USD barely gets something made from MDF these days.

second hand stores and character are the way to go in this case (if your time has minimal value.)
