Hi guys,
I'm getting ready to instal Panther on a newly installed hard drive. Prior to this, the OS was OS 9.2.1. I have had help on here so I wanted to update to 9.2.2 which I seem to have done OK but how do I know what firmware version I have?

And on the same subject, I have already downloaded the latest firmware just in case but the destructions on how to install it mention a Programmer's button.

Is that the button next to the PRAM battery?

Cheers,
Steve

NO it's not. It's the tiny little button on the front of the machine, below the power button. Depending on which model you have, some of them look a bit different. Sawtooths have the pwr button on top and 2 smaller ones side by side underneath, but the QS has them all in 1 vertical row, with the pwr at the top, then the force restart, and finally the programmers button at the bottom......
