I want an apple approved car charger . Can someone recommend an online store to get one from? There is so much junk out there, I want a good one. Don't need a dual charger and something low profile. I saw the Griffin ones at Bestbuy but they were very long where they plug into the car:confused:

This advice goes for home chargers as well. The only two brands I trust and that last and that are built well are Belkin and Griffin. These are sold in Apple stores and are great. Amazon has great prices on these.

I'm using the following:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WBB8E0/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042B9U8Q/ref=oh_o04_s00_i00_details

The cable is VERY close to the OEM cable. I also ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015RB39O/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details but it hasn't arrived yet (very slow shipping from overseas)

The setup I'm using now is awesome, much slimmer profile than my old USB cig lighter adapter (Elago) which didn't work w/ my iPhone anyway. And having two USB slots is nice so that I can charge two phones if needed.

Great Car Charger

I use the iGo brand car chargers. The best part about these chargers is that they are interchangeable and you can switch out the tips in case you need to charge different types of devises. I've used mine through 3 different :apple: iPhones (upgrades) and it's never failed me. Hope this helps.
