I need a good shelf to hold some network gear...

Hi there,

I'm interested to see if anybody has a recommendation for a shelving unit that could hold some things AND look nice while doing it.

I have an OfficeJet 8500 Pro thanks to that ridiculous sale at Office Depot. (scanning/printing, across the network, to my Macs? lovin' it.)

I'd also like to put an 8 port switch, a NAS device and maybe a charger or two on it.

I would like to avoid the standard "just put it on a bookshelf" kind of thing.

So if anybody has seen something that is designed to be sturdy and not boring/ugly, I'd appreciate the recommendations.

PS: I'm 500 miles from an Ikea, so keep that in mind.

I used to have all of that junk on a bookshelf and it was driving me crazy (just looks sloppy), so I picked up a wall-mount shelf and it looks much better.

Just make sure to get one that is rated to hold your printer+router...just weigh them on the bathroom scale.

make sure you have these available

AND BUILD IT YOURSELF! You always get just what you want when you build it! MDF is easy to paint too, shouldnt need a primer.
