So i'm trying to create an action to put a border on my photos and add text to make them similar to this:
What I want to have happen with the tex is have it prompt me and then have me be able to type in whatever I want for the caption and the date. I know that this can be done because I found another action that does it, you can download that action here if you want to check it out:

but I can't figure out how to get my text input to work like in that action. He creates a text layer and the text is all highlighted so that you can just type in whatever you want to change it.
Can anyone help me out with this or recommend a place where I could find help getting this setup.
