Ok, i had my macbook shipped with a 60gb hd, that obviously wasn't big enough so just 2 months ago i upgraded to a 120gb, stupid me didn't wanna spend any more money for something bigger when I SHOULD have, well now I've gotta upgrade again and was wondering if my 1.83GHz. MB (NOT SR) would handle a 7200rpm instead of the shipped 5400rpm and am confused on which drive to get:
a sata 150
or
a sata3.0gb?????

Also, I'll have a 120gb drive available, practically brand new for sale once i upgrade if anyone's intersted.

Thanks,
Cody

I'm pretty sure Macbooks are limited to 150, but you can install the sata 3.0 drive - it will just cap at 150.

As for the 7200rpm, it should work okay. There's a risk of more heat and less battery life, is that an issue for you?
