hey guys i'm a highschool student
and i need a program to make newsletters.. i'm in charge of newsletters
for my youth group and a school club..
i've checked out the office 2004 templates and the pages templates.. and they both seem sub-par to me.. any free programs that i should look into? thanks!

Free Programs...I don't think so...

But Pages 2006 is magnificent for making newsletters - it offers a number of phenomenal templates, is easy to use, and is very fast (at least, on my MacBook Pro...)

If you can afford the 80 dollar price premium (or 50 bucks if you've been accepted into a college....), go for iWork.

i have iWork 05.. maybe that's why i'm seeing the difference..
i don't think i can afford iWork 06. oh well

i'll give ragtime solo a try. thanks!

I completely agree with this...IMO Pages '06 has outstanding templates for whatever you need
