I just just picked up the previous generation MBP 15.4" and now am looking for a case.

I would like something thin and light like a sleeve, but I also need some space to carry the power brick and a mouse.

These are the ones that I have found so far...

Acme Made The Slim Cargo - $129-$249
Brenthaven MetroLite II Black - $79.95
Booq Boa Slimcase M90 - $115
Waterfield HardCase - $239

Does anyone have any experience with any of these or have a recommendation for something else that suits the bill?

My only other concern is that I want it to be able to fit the new MBP as well. I would hate having to buy another case down the line since some of these cases can be quite expensive.

Booq and Waterfield are grand. Waterfield makes a sleeve with a pouch (that makes it into a case) that is no where near $200 - see if that will fit you bill.

And don't forget to look for coupon codes to knock a little more off those prices too!

that Brenthaven guy cracks me up.

You have a handful of choices already.
have you started leaning towards anything.

*Brooq makes a nice looking product.
*Brenthaven has their lifetime warranty.
*Waterfield doesnt seem too luxury in my eyes.

id go for the brooq...looking at it more...i might go ahead and order one for myself!

I really like the WaterField hard case and it got a lot of good reviews, but it also has a high price tag.

The Brenthaven looks like it will do the job, but I'm not sure how I feel about that pouch look.

The Booq just doesn't seem to be my style not to mention it's 3.4 lbs. That's 1 pound more than the two I listed above.
