I need a song title, quick, i need this now!!!

I need a song for school, and the song has to have in the lyrics, or it has the theme or topic, of someone controling another person, preferably a women controlling a man, or any form of controling, pleaseeeeeee hurry i need this to pass!!!

Not really controlling but it has an essence of it, roses by outkast.
 
If you want any form of controlling, or at least the opposing thereof and commentary regarding, how about Rage's classic "Killing in the Name Of"? ;)

How about these by Mariah Carey (I included some partial lyrics)...and if you hate Mariah, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT. Believe it or not, it gets annoying to have people bash you all the time. These are my suggestions as a way to HELP.

Good one! As for a suggestion... I'm drawing a blank. But that really is a great song!
 
#1, if you use any soft crap like Mariah, you'll fail. 2. If you use any modern rock, or what some call "metal," you'll fail in the category of taste.

Try using "Control" by MDFMK.
OR, Try using "#1 Crush" by Garbage.
Or even try Pretty When You Cry by Vast.

Please use google for the Lyrics.

How about hotel california by the eagles, thats all about addiction, you can take one of the verses and say its a poem:rolleyes:

Man I hated these kinds of assignments...

I'm also amazed at how bad the musical tastes are at MR. I expected a lot more independent music recommendations.

Poems? I can't name one off the top of my head, but there are a few John Donne poems in that vein. I'll leave the googling to you.

I guess one reason is perhaps trying to choose bands/tracks that the person and/or their teacher has heard of or can easily get a copy of (without having to buy it).

I didn't say I'd listened to Guns n Roses since the early 90s after all ;)
Choosing something by Elliott Smith or The Cyclones might reflect more of my musical taste but there would be more people going 'huh' too.

That's a good one.
Too bad it requires lyrics, because Dmtri Shostakovich wrote his 5th symphony to get back in the good graces of the Stalinist gov't of the time. That's pretty controlling. ;)
