I need a two speaker theater system

So we have a nice new TV, lots of sources with optical and coaxial digital out, but no speakers as of yet. I want a two speaker system, like the Bose, because I don't want speakers in the back of the room, but do want good sound from my sources. But I don't feel like dishing out a grand for a 2.1 channel system. And recomendations?

Never go with Bose. They mat sound OK but they are nothign special compared to a set of these.

Also, check out this subwoofer.

And in case you dont have a reciever I would check out Onyko as then have great recievers for less then $300.
