I need to connect from my Big Sur to an Oracle Linux 8.4 server on which I am currently running Tiger VNC server. But the clipboard is not shared so I cannot copy/paste between my Mac and the Linux server. I have tried both the Screen Sharing app and Apple's Remote Desktop app. On the Linux server I am running vncconfig which supposedly will take care of the clipboard but it doesn't work. I have read that you need to install autocutsel on Linux but I tried that and also it doesn't work.
Anyone has experience with making copy/paste work between a Mac and a RedHat compatible OS when using VNC?

Update: copy/paste works when using TigerVNC viewer, so it seems it's a Screen Sharing or Remote Desktop app issue.
