So I have a 15 MBP C2D 2.66 with an intel SSD (80 GB). I'm sick of it's size. I definitely want to sell it for something more portable.

I mainly use my Mac for web browsing, office, iTunes, and some HTML work. The main thing is that I want something portable for around the house and when I take it to school.

I want to know if I'm better off taking my SSD and putting it in 13" MBP or just selling the SSD and getting a MBA 13 1.86 128 GB 4 GB of ram. I just want to get some peoples take on weather the smaller size is worth the trade off in performance.

All advise is appreciated. Thanks Macrumors Forum!

Do similar things and went from 2010 15" with an G2 Intel SSD and high res into the 13" MBA with absolutely no regrets.

I have used a 15 inch MPB 2.4 C2D and the 13 ultimate air and would say there is no drop-off in preference, the Air actually faster/snappier due to SSD and the difference in CPU speed isn't noticeable unless your doing some CPU heavy tasks
