Ok everyone my fiancé has a MacBook that she purchase three years ago and nothing has been done to it besides the updates that needed done. My question is, their have been a few software that I have seen about the lion. Should I updated her MacBook with the most recent software? Or just keep it original?

If you're happy with the current version of applications, and there are no features you need, then stick with the current versions

I personally always update my software, because the updates could fix bugs I didn't even know existed in the software. If you don't need or want to update the apps that offer updates, you definitely need to update Lion when updates are offered, because it should help performance.

Could it be possible if I could get the new software that the new MacBook has and enjoy the new features?
