having just bought my iphone thanks to the advice of alot of you from here i am now looking to select a few songs to make as ringtones. however i am struggling to decide what a good ringtone song will be. therefore i am leaving it up to you guys to post your top 5 songs of all time and then i shall use your lists as inspiration to select a few....

Heh. Don't ask me. I hate ringtones.

If i had to put one on though it would be the clock sound effect from 24!!

I would be so like Jack Bauer.:)

Ok here we go,

1) Dont Blink ( Kenny Chesney)
2) Aurthurs Theme (From the movie Aurthur) Just something about it i like
3) Ride like wind (Christopher Cross) Have loved this song since the first time i heard it.
4) Live like you were dying (Tim Mcgraw) Great song and video
5) The Leader of the Band (Dan Folgelberg)

Hope these help Good Luck

There are no good song ringtones. Spare those around you the embarrassment of some hokey song and use one of the Apple supplied ones. :D

If you are going to use a song, just make sure its one you wont want to listen to lots in the future, as having a favorite song as a ringtone will slowly destroy it!

Does for me anyway.

Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival

In my mind it's a perfect song for a ringtone (at least the first 30-40 seconds). It starts out slow getting louder and louder.

Instead of cutting a piece of a song, why not be truely inspired to find some nice sound effects or something unique to use as your ringer :)

How about those ringtones which are voice tones something from comedy central or Borat :D

haha on my old cell phone, I had the Eurotrip "MAIL MOTHA****A!" for when I get a SMS... was at a restaurant and through the silence... "MAIL MOTHA****A!" embarrassment x 5.

I guess the Borat "niiice" would be great for SMS :)
