Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this app.

I need to create a 10-page template with a fixed background image. I'm working with a landscape format (8.5x11) and I managed to place an 8.5x11 jpg file. Questions:

1) How do I lock this image so I can create text boxes on top?

2) Is it possible to place this image on some sort of Master page? The reason I ask is because my client will need to change this background image every now and then.

Thanks.

It sounds like creating a watermark with the photo may work for you.

In a new document, go to the drop-down menu and select INSERT>WATERMARK. Select the "photo" button and "Select Picture." Select a 100% scale to fill the page, and select "washout" depending on how dark the image looks.

Once you hit the "OK" button, you will return to the document and can type, etc. like normal (no need for "text boxes") while you see the picture in the background. You can save the blank document with Watermark as your "template."

Hope that helps.
