also i need some good icon sets for external hd's as well as for my mbp'

I use a widget (iStat) that displays disks usage. Hope it helps.

Like this?? This is my desktop. You can change the dock and icons for everything. Download the program LiteIcon. There you can change your dock and everything. Go to this site to download icon sets and such http://interfacelift.com/icons-mac/details.php?id=1867

Download what you want then open LiteIcon and drag the icons from your download set into the icons. Say you want to change your Hard drive icon, find the icon in your icon set and drag it into the LiteIcon icon for the hard drive. If that makes sense. There are also directions with the program. Hope this helps.

ok i tried to do that same thing with my mbp the show more information

but mine cuts off at the how many more gb space left... care to share how you did yours?
