I tried to restore from 6.1.3 to 5.0.1 on iphone 4 with valid blobs with redsn0w and after the installation, the iphone won't boot up and I get this message on redsn0w:"couldn't obtain fresh baseband blobs. It's probably no longer signed" I don't have any problems with the baseband and I've never preserved it cause I still use the iphone on a blocked carrier.

try making a custom IPSW with sn0wbreeze, it should bypass the BB.

Itunes 11.1 can't process custom ipsws, but never mind, I did a recovery fix with redsn0w and now it works just fine.:), thanks for the answer by the way.

No problem, but please share your sollution so others with the same issue can benefit.

I just did, after the restore process, the iphone went into an infinite restart process and than I pressed the "recovery fix" button and followed the instructions regardless on how to press those 2 buttons.
