I have a Macbook Pro 15" (mid 2012, non Retina). I replaced the keyboard today because the keys were getting nasty.
However, my trackpad is now completely unresponsive. I have tried resetting NVRAM and clearing SMC. Is there anything else I should try?
In the case that I do have a short, is there a way to identify it? (i.e. if it's trackpad side or logic board side) iogic boards cost $600, while trackpad/cable combo cost $70.
I could always try buying a new trackpad + cable, but I just want some help narrowing down where the issue is.
Thanks.
