iPod touch I need help really bad(this needs to be fixed tonight)

i have a 8gb ipod touch 1g, it just turns on and off when i plug it in, it was jailbroken by ipwn and has the pinnapple logo lol.... anyways, it ALSO has a broken home button.... damn, so i cannot use none of the normal methods to fix it, so what can i do!!!

I had a similar issue when I tried jail breaking my device. It just locked up and I could not power down, restore, or anything.

The solution that worked for me was to let the battery drain completely so it turned off, then I charged it and did a clean reboot. This allowed me to do a restore and everything returned back to normal.

I have since decided that Jail breaking was not for me. I will just wait for those Cydia apps to migrate over. Although there are several really cool ones I would like to try out.

Send it to apple customer care center. They'll surely fix it.
