I need help syncing photos

Is there anyway to sync photos from my computer into the iPhone camera roll? Also I synced some photos from the computer the iPhone and it created a folder on the iPhone called Photo Library. Thats fine but it also created another folder with the same file name that was on my computer. The same pictures are now in two different folders on the iPhone. Is there any way to get rid of the one with the file name and just leave the Photo Library folder on the iPhone? Thanks
