I need help trying to install a new harddrive into my Imac G5 powerpc

I bought a hard drive and while installing there was one wire that did not connect to the new harddrive.

That is the manual to replacement from Apple, I believe the other cable you are speaking of is the one that mounts onto the hard drive bracket.

I hope this helps, I am posting this without opening my iMac G5 and taking a look for myself. I'll check in later on this post when I bust it open again to replace the capacitors that fried in it.
