I need help with capture device

well recently i brought a 2010 imac and i decide to buy a capture device for my play station 3 but most of them require window. and there is one important problem is when i play my playstation 3 i use a LG 24 inches monitor instead of tv and i am not allow to get a tv . so any one solve my problem ? my budget price 1 to 150 or little higher . i don't need hd hd i just want something that is clear and good contrast for capture device . thanks

Blackmagic Intensity Pro, 199 I think, does HD and works great on my new '10 MP. One thing with the PS3 you can't capture via HDMI, Sony has it protected, you need to use Component.

Just realized you said iMac, they have a BMI Shuttle now that seems pretty decent, I think it's the same price.

The Shuttle is USB 3.0 only.

But i have a computer monitor and i just got window 7 on my imac , are there any way to capture it on computer monitor ? like converter or w.e
