I Need Help with Guitar Rig

Hi, im using a new macbook and running guitar rig 2 from it. However the programme will not dectect any input from my guitar, which is running into the laptop via a m-audio usb audio interface. I cant undertand why guitar rig does not dectect an input. I have guitar rig and the laptop set so as the input is fast track yet the programme seems to hear no input signal levels. Garage band works but for some reason guitar rig does not... I would be grateful if anyone could help me with this problem.... thanks:confused:
 
Have you looked in system prefs audio input? If you're using Garage band have you chaned its prefs as well? Once you've done that you might need to quite GB and restart if for the change in prefs to take place :)
