i need help with handbrake!

I have a couple of movies here and i just converted them on .mp4 so i could be able to watch them on my ps3.
the movies on my mackbook pro look fantastic, almost like HD! but when i converted them doesn't look as good.

I guess i need to change the configuration. How should i put it so the quality wont change THAT much?
