i need help with mac the ripper

Ive had a mac for about a year now but im a newbie to mac the ripper.
I put the disk in and i select go and when it finishes its in about 25 different little files?

Help please

It depends on what you're trying to do. Mac The Ripper is doing exactly what it is supposed to do - that is, rip a DVD to your hard disk. What you end up with is a VIDEO_TS folder with the files inside.

If you want to CONVERT that movie to some other format, you'll need to use another program, like Visualhub

Is that a freeware and if it isnt what is a good freeware to do that?

Thanks now i want to burn a dvd with this movie i used mac the ripper and then i used the video ts file in handbrake and got that done now i want to burn it.
How do i do that?
