Hello I need to know how to reset my Imac to Factory settings with out the instal disk.

You see I bought it second had and it did not come with the instal disk.

I now am having problems with the screen blipping when i am loading web pages and lines being left on the screen and finally my screen just freezing up. I thought it might be a bad graphics card but it dose not look like any of the pic's I have seen of examples of bad graphics cards on the internet. So I think it might be the driver for the graphics card. The plan is to restore it it to the factory settings and hope it fixes the driver problem.

So I do have a copy of snow leopard because I upgraded to it. Will that work?

Thanks to any one who can help me

First G5 andf Intel is two different things.
If you installed Snow Leopard, then you have intel.
And yes you can use the DVD to reinstall

Thanks

and it is has a Intel processor but it is the white g5 body stile.

Good luck with reinstalling, although I would have guessed it's a hardware problem.
If you have the original disk, you could insert it hand hold down D (or was it T) to start hardware test.
Anyways, the original disk will have it written with small letters which one to hold down.
