I need help !!

Hi guys !

I'm a new mac user and I've bought a g4 quicksilver 2002 with a formac 1740 adc from a my friend!

My problem is the following: Refresh rate on monitor control panel is 50 hz and it's impossible to set another frequency.

My SO is Mac X 10.3.7 and video card is Geforce2 MX.

Why I can't to set other refresh rate frequency higher 50 hz ?

Which is the problem ?

Dumb question, and I don't have a CRT to test with (LCDs only), but, if you lower the resolution, can you bump the refresh rate?

I don't have an answer for you, but I do have some advice for the future. You may get more responses if you use a more accurate title. Maybe: 'G4 Quicksilver and Formac 1740 refresh rate'. 'I need help !!' is very vague and some people may not look at it.

If it's LCD, the refresh rate shouldn't apply... LCD's don't scan like CRTs do.
