Needs to work on PC, if also mac compatible thats cool too.

It's for my aunt, I don't think it needs to have a huge capacity...if it uses flash cards that's fine.

I just only have experience with iPods...which is out of the price range. Anyone know of a good, easy to use mp3 player in this price range?

thanks!

I'd recommend looking at MP3-CD players then. My Philips MP3CD player was around $150, and I'm more than sure it would also run on PC-burned discs. If you can deal with 700 MB CDs (which is kind of nice because you're not limited to built in RAM) then I'd go for it.

You could probably find an old 5 or 10gb iPod for around that price, try ebay, or maybe call up some retailers to find some old stock.
