I need to get rid of OS 4.0

I have an iPhone 3G. I had to do a restore and now it has the latest update. The update has made it incredibly slow. I've heard about the slowdown and I want to get it back to the older version. I don't have a backup. Is that no longer an option?

just wait for tomorrow's update, 4.1. This update will help with the iphone's slow down.

Same here for quite some time. Lucky that I use IP4 now. But anyway: wait some more hours/days when iOS 4.1 adress the issue. You find lots of threats here providing details with the GoldenMaster version.

1+ 3g is easy to downgrade. JB is also very easy on the 3G. So I would wait at least till tomorrow. here is where to get it though. tutorials Iclarified
