I need to re-build iPhoto

I threw some files away and now iPhoto says that it is in the trash. I looked in there and there is an iPhoto, but it was a separate file that a Genius tossed yesterday.

I think I had this happen before and I had to remove the iPhoto that I have (which I now have 2) and rebuild it from my back up HD.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that.
