Hey guys, Im going on vacation next month and i need a unlock for my Iphone 4 ver 4.1 I jailbroke it the other day using Limerain. Can someone point me to the right direction

thanks

You might have upgraded the Baseband, making the phone unlockable (I did the same thing on my 3GS). You will have to wait until iOS 4.2 is released.

so basically the BAseband is locked correct??? How do i check what baseband i have currently

One way to check your current baseband is to download TinyUmbrella and plug in the phone. For the 3GS if you have baseband 05.14.xx then you can't unlock it. As for iPhone 4 I don't know if it is the same or if it is a different one, you will have to Google it.

hope it comes out soon:(

Yep, so does everyone else, I bought my phone in September off eBay with 4.1 on it already, without knowing what version it had, I thought I would be able to call from it the day I got it.
I'm still using my old phone, but for now my iPhone makes a great iPod!:)

i wish I understood why people buy phones off Ebay without checking what is unlockable and what firmware is on the phone first. Everyday I see phones on ebay where they are advertised as unlockable, and you know they are not.
