What do you mean by drawbacks?
Look, it all depends on what YOU want from a case
:
style (totally taste driven)
protection - hard/soft
full case or partial
pocket or hip
case w closure - leather or...
clear or color
hard or rubber (poly silcon)
case w screen protection or naked
and who knows what else...ponder the possibilties, read reviews here, ilounge and YouTube
have fun and experiment

My opinion is just put a full body zagg or bse or bodyguardz on the phone and maybe throw it in a pouch.
Whats the point in a rubber or plastic case that will cover the sleekness of the phone ? How often do you actually drop your phone ? I never dropped any phone before knock on wood, because i know that i have to be careful with it. SO a full zagg or bse etc would be enough protection if you want to put it in your pocket.
