Interesting.

Did Apple decide, based on that one youtuber who leaked so much, that they wouldn't send out units for reviews to be available on release day?

Speaking of batteries, my apple magsafe battery has been an excellent travel tool. I was looking forward to getting a second magsafe battery ...

To make the new one only functional with an Air is the kind of thing that just makes a person want to Force-choke a mofo.

I really don't get why they aren't still making MagSafe pucks that work with all the phones.

People would buy them.

It's very odd given how much Tim loves high margin accessory sales.

Apple never send iPhones to journalists before the official announcement. Right after the keynote there’s hands on time and if you were invited to the event it’s your responsibility to make and post a “initial hands on” video as fast as possible

Take home devices for the full review arrive after the event and the review embargo is typically on the Tuesday or Wednesday the following week.

Ah yes, the embargo rules!

I guess the battery will work with models? I still use the old Lightning one every now and then on many different iPhones that I bought in 2021.
The only real issue with it on the 15 Pro Max is that it is quite underpowered for the device and just heats it up if I am using it at the same time.
I agree though, it's a shame they don't make an iPhone Pro Max Battery that is way larger.
