I only get one bar of signal after JBing.

Either reboot your device, or turn on and off airplane mode, should get it to connect to the network.

Yea, it's a bit weird and happened with me before, reboot fixed it, but I had also noticed it happened the other day before jailbreaking after going in to an area of no coverage for an extended period of time (theatre with a cell jammer), had to switch airplane mode on and off to get it to reconnect to the network *shrugs*

This happened me too after I installed SBSettings (I doubt SBSettings caused it). Anyway I just rebooted and it's been running fine ever since.
